last week, friends had us over for dinner and a lesson in canning. if it weren't for them, i don't know what we would have done with several dozen banana peppers! (the pickles are all from our friends.) between summer camp and this pregnancy, our first garden hasn't had near enough attention, but God is providing abundantly anyway. what a lovely picture of grace."so neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow." wow! my mom told me by phone yesterday that she canned 22 quarts of green beans!!!! looks like a yummy fall and winter in the making to me!
